Ugh, Find Lover is a total dud. I tried it out and was so disappointed with the user profiles that I just had to write this review! First of all, let me say that the profiles are public – anyone can view them which isn’t great if you value your privacy. You also don’t get any custom bio option either – no way to express yourself or make an impression on potential matches.
Location info in each profile? Yeah right…it’s totally visible for everyone to see unless you take extra steps like hiding your address manually (which takes forever). And forget about getting any indication of distance between users; there’s nothing like that at all here! Not even a basic map feature showing where people live relative to one another?! Seriously? What kind of dating site doesn’t have something as simple as this?? It gets worse: If you want anything resembling decent features from Find Lover then prepare yourself for some serious sticker shock because they charge premium prices without offering much in return besides being able to hide location information more easily than non-premium members…and not even reliably enough since other members could still figure out where someone lives by doing their own detective work online anyway. No thanks!
